Guelph Eramosa Refugee Sponsorship Project was a collective from the Guelph Eramosa area including non-faith based community folks and representatives from area United Church of Canada congregations including Three Willows, Rockwood, Stone, Speedside and Barrie Hill United Churches. Volunteers came from all walks of life, bringing our particular gifts developed as business owners, farmers, techies, nurses, clergy, academics, engineers, parents, students, researchers, and artists.

​Our formal relationship with our family ended in the spring of 2018. Members of our churches continue to connect with the family taking them to events in the community, tutoring the children etc.

Sounds of Support

June 17 at Lloyd Dyer Park members of our churches and community welcomed our Syrian Family with a music festival featuring local musicians, delicious food and fun for the whole family.
