Sunday, October 17at 9:30 am there will be time to gather on Zoom. At 10 am, join us to celebrate Stone’s 159th Anniversary. Our guest speaker for Worship will be Vicki Olatundun from Chalmers Community Services.


Canadian Foodgrains Bank Stone United Foodgrains 2021 Pumpkin and Sunflower Growing Project Wrap-Up 

Sunday, October 17, from 2 to 4 pm– Everyone is welcome to attend our wrap up celebrations and fun activities.  Participants are asked to bring your pumpkins and sunflowers to Paul and Diane May's farm, for measuring, weighing and/or displaying.
Pumpkin categories include heaviest, smallest, ugliest, best decorated, best carved, and honorable mentions.
Sunflower categories include tallest and biggest head diameter and the best sunflower picture. We will take photos of the sunflowers, pumpkins and participants.
Take pictures of your sunflowers to show their size, if you won’t be able to bring them to the wrap up. Send them to Lisa Leffler at lleffler@live.ca or bring your picture on Sunday.

Participants may take their pumpkins and sunflowers back home, leave it to be part of our Great Pumpkin display,or donate it for someone to purchase. If you require assistance to deliver your pumpkin or sunflower please contact Tom Parker. 


Sunday, October 17 from 6 to 8 pm the Confirmation Class will meet on Zoom.


Tuesday, October 19 at 7:30 pm on Zoom, join us for Bible Study. We will continue our study of Romans 6.


WednesdayOctober 207:30 pm via Zoom, the Genesis Book Club will convene to discuss Guardian of the Balance, by Irene Radford.  This book is available as an e-book through the Wellington County Library system.  All are welcome to join in the conversation.


Thursday, October 21 women are invited to Ladies Tea and Talk from 10 am to 12 noon, at Ollie Darcie’s. Come and enjoy an outdoor, social distance visit. Bring your tea (or coffee) and mask. If you are more comfortable, you can bring your own lawn chair. Please wear your mask coming and going and take any garbage or leftovers home to lower risk.


Thursday, October 21 at 7:30 pm the Ministry and Personnel Committee will meet on Zoom.

Sunday, October 24 at 9:30 am there will be time to gather on Zoom. At 10 am, join Heather for our Sunday Worship.


Sunday, October 24 from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm, join Heather for In-person Worship at Rockwood. Please register between October 20 at noon and October 22 at noon at rockwoodstoneuc@gmail.com or by leaving a message at 519-856-4160 as space is limited.


Tuesday, October 26 at 7:30 pm on Zoom, join us for Bible Study. We will continue our study of Romans 7.


Stone Church is planning another take-out meal on October 27.  Price is $15.00 per person and we will serve Roast Beef, Baked Potato, Turnip, Small Bun, Coleslaw and Dessert.  Randy is offering 500 grams of Cate's new honey for $10.00. If you wish to order honey it will be delivered with your meal.  The plan is to serve 75 people. To place your order please contact Edie Ward at edieward45@gmail.com by October 24. You may pay by e-transfer to stoneuc.treasurer@gmail.com, cheque or cash on delivery.


Thursday, October 28 men are invited to Coffee Connections for Men from 10 am to 12 noonon ZoomBring your coffee (or tea) and snacks and enjoy this time together.


Thursday, October 28 at 7:30 pm the Finance and Stewardship Committee will meet on Zoom.
