Life In Our Churches

Stone Outreach

Thanks to everyone who has supported Stone’s Outreach so far this year. Stone’s Palm Sunday breakfast raised $350 divided equally between the Outreach Fund and General Fund. One of the wellness speakers graciously donated $200 to the Outreach Fund. At the Annual Meeting, many good ideas were put forth for fundraisers by individuals and groups. If you would like to host or help with a fundraiser, please contact Brian Mack at dbmfarm101@gmail.com or at 856-9783, in order to explore the possibilities. Donations to the Outreach Fund are also welcome in order to help us reach our goal of $1100. Please make sure that our Treasurer is aware that your donation is specifically for the Outreach fund.

Spring Harvest Table – Stone UC Foodgrains Bank Project would appreciate your support of our spring offerings by donations of any plants, shrubs or perennials you are thinning out. Mulch, dogwood, maple tree whips are available now and watch for wild leeks and fiddleheads coming soon. Please take as you need and give as you are able ... exchanges are fine too!

In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet up once a week to investigate unsolved murders.
But when a brutal killing takes place on their very doorstep, the Thursday Murder Club find themselves in the middle of their first live case. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves.
Can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer before it's too late?
